Monitor/Camera updating very slowly or not at all in Digital Factory Webpage

I am not sure that I really like the "Digital Factory"  It just seems like a lot of extra layers to go through.  Anyway, WHen I click on the Photo icon, to see the print in action, from the camera, the picture updates slowly, if at all.  Also, if I want to use the Digital Factory app on the browser, I can't view how the print job is doing in Cura, in the Monitor Tab.  That is a real downer, because most of the time, I am at my computer in my office, and it is easier to check the print through using Cura, than going on the web and checking using the Digital Factory Webpage.

Please help!

Digital Factory only refreshes the Camera feed every 10 seconds (this setting cant be changed)
Its only meant to monitor or check-in on the print, not to watch it.

Sorry about that.

Is it still possible to view the camera feed (on UM s5) directly through <IP Adress>:8080/?action=stream ? specifically so I can record the feed?

Even if the camera view is only going to update every 10 seconds, then that should be stated some place.  On the Print Jobs browser window, at the bottom of the camera view, there is a status bar that slides across, and gives the impression that the camera view is just slow in updating.  If there was no moving status bar, and the picture just updated every 10 seconds, then we would catch on.

I would still like to see the camera view in Cura, yet, be able to submit over the network, and also check it from home when needed.  Why can't we have both?

      • S-Line Firmware 8.3.0 was released Nov. 20th on the "Latest" firmware branch.
(Sorry, was out of office when this released)

        This update is for...
        All UltiMaker S series
        New features

Temperature status. During print preparation, the temperatures of the print cores and build plate will be shown on the display. This gives a better indication of the progress and remaining wait time. Save log files in paused state. It is now possible to save the printer's log files to USB if the currently active print job is paused. Previously, the Dump logs to USB option was only enabled if the printer was in idle state. Confirm print removal via Digital Factory. If the printer is connected to the Digital Factory, it is now possible to confirm the removal of a previous print job via the Digital Factory interface. This is useful in situations where the build plate is clear, but the operator forgot to select Confirm removal on the printer’s display. Visit this page for more information about this feature.
