Feature request: Settings filters

Hi all,

Instead of using different presets with complete set of settings, it would be great to have a small sets of settings which solve different printing issues, for example, "tiny print", "strong print", "lot of details", etc.
In this case we do not need to keep in sink all presets, we can just apply "setting filter" with just a specific settings (same as Instagram filters applied to photos)

Another option - is just add "Tags" to settings, so different tags can show a specific settings set which can be easily adjusted for a specific print..

But any way, "Settings filters" is better in case of different filament, so, doesn't metter what filament I use, I can just apply a specific setting filter just for a current specific print)

Have you tried the Settings Visibility Sets Creator plugin from the Marketplace?

It is not exactly what you ask for, but it will at least let you create your own sets ("filters").

    Looks nice! Thank you!
I'll try it in my workflow

      • UltiMaker Cura Alpha 🎄 Tree Support Spotlight 🎄
Are you a fan of tree support, but dislike the removal process and the amount of filament it uses? Then we would like to invite you to try this special release of UltiMaker Cura. Brought to you by our special community contributor @thomasrahm
We generated a special version of Cura 5.2 called 5.3.0 Alpha + Xmas. The only changes we introduced compared to UltiMaker Cura 5.2.1 are those which are needed for the new supports. So keep in mind, this is not a sneak peek for Cura 5.3 (there are some really cool new features coming up) but a spotlight release highlighting this new version of tree supports.
