I may be missing something obvious but I can't change the print speed parameters in settings. When I change them the original values revert every time I press enter or go to the next field. I reverted back to an older version that allows these changes. What am I missing?

I haven't seen or heard of this problem before.  Load a simple model like a calibration cube or Benchy and use the "File | Save Project" command.  Then post the resulting 3mf file here and someone will take a look.

Typically if you enter values that are above the maximum allowed or below the minimum allowed the box interior will turn to red and you can't slice.  Many of the input fields are controlled by the fdmprinter.def.json file and your specific printer definition file.

I'm having the same issue with changing the infill percent. Like the OP, I had to go back to 5.3.1 and it worked there.

Here is a complete list of every single fact that has been provided about this problem:

    1. Two people are having issues with input boxes in 5.4.0.

That's not a lot of fact to go on.

What OS do you use? The reason I ask is that the issue does not reproduce for me on Windows 10. Perhaps, if you could let use know what OS you use (and possibly what GPU and driver version), we can narrow down the search for ways to reproduce this, and then fix it (or find a workaround).
