Sorry - just realised I put this in the wrong place but don't know how to move it

Hi

I'm new here and have had my Ender 3 Neo for about 6 weeks.  I'm using Cura 5.4.0 and with a test model from Thingiverse.  Filament is PLA+.  Gcode, stl and curaprofile files are attached.

I have retraction set to 1.0mm in Cura (direct drive extruder) and up to and including layer 20 that is what happens.  At layer 21, for some reason, Cura starts coding for a 6mm retraction and I don't know why.  This ultimately causes under extrusion/clogging/skipping.

I have included below extracts from the gcode file for layers 20 & 21.  These clearly show 1mm and 6mm retraction.

At layer 21, entries like ;[CAZO:G1 F3600 E351.00338:CAZO] start to appear, but my understanding is that they are commented out so should not be read but the printer.

Can anyone tell me what is happening and how to make it stop?

Many thanks

Peter

You have the post processor "Change At Z" running.

On the left end of the slice button is an icon with a red circle that has a number in it.  Click on the icon and close "Change At Z".

This is from the gcode file you posted.

    ;LAYER:20
    ;MESH:Tiny_Tester.stl
    ;[CAZD:
    ;RETRACTFEEDRATE 2400.0
    ;RETRACTLENGTH 6.0
    ;:CAZD]

Thank you.  Regrettably, it not the first time I've left the post processor running 😊
