Hi all,

i have received a new printer profile definition from a friend who created it manually.

Where do i need to store the definition file on a Windows 11 machine?

I was able to get it working on a Linux device by simply putting the file in the /home/user/.config folder, but whatever folder i am selecting on the other Windows machine  in the user profiles of Cura, the new printer doesn't show up during selecting a new printer.

I also checked the entry on Github, but no success:
Adding new machine profiles to Cura · Ultimaker/Cura Wiki · GitHub

Many thanks!

    Replying to myself.

I was dealing with that problem several days and five minutes after posting the question it is working as expected.

Now i am looking like a complete idiot 😇

It's OK and welcome to the club.  I do believe that it is a 3D printing thing.
