Cura not responding when trying to load a file

when I try to load a file to slice it says not responding and then it shuts down. It was working fine then just stopped. I uninstalled and then reinstalled the latest version and it is still happening. I dont have Chitubox installed and only using my windows 10 laptop no external devices attached.

How big is the file? I'm not sure if Cura has an internal memory limit or anything. It could also be that your model files have some sort of errors in them, try re-exporting them from whatever program you used to make them.

 

It would also really help if you could attach a file you're having trouble with to see if anyone here can replicate the problem.
