· PrintrBot Simple - Can't Print Through USB
It's possible you need to set up drivers for it, though in many cases that's as simple as finding the device in Device Manager in Windows (often appears under "Ports (COM and LPT)" because it just uses a serial connection), right clicking it and clicking "Update driver". I don't have any experience with PrintrBot machines so I don't know if they have any special drivers or anything, you can check their website.
I would strongly advise getting an SD card though, USB printing is a legacy feature (from when printers didn't have their own motherboards and ability to run themselves, they had to receive every command over USB) which is no longer actively maintained. Printing from a card is also much more reliable, as you don't have to worry about your computer freezing mid-print or anything like that.

In the Cura 5.8 stable release, everyone can now tune their Z seams to look better than ever. Method series users get access to new material profiles, and the base Method model now has a printer profile, meaning the whole Method series is now supported in Cura!
We are happy to announce the next evolution in the UltiMaker 3D printer lineup: the UltiMaker Factor 4 industrial-grade 3D printer, designed to take manufacturing to new levels of efficiency and reliability. Factor 4 is an end-to-end 3D printing solution for light industrial applications
