Printer Freezes/Locks Up

Hello Everyone,

I recently updated the firmware of my Ultimaker S5 (with materials station) to 8.3.1 and I started having weird issues.

 

The first is that if I need to abort a print, the printer essentially freezes or locks up on the "Aborting Print" screen. I've waited for well over an hour on three different occassions just to make sure it wasn't taking longer than normal. When it does this I the printer won't allow me to perform any other in-machine tasks, so I have to shut off the printer and restart it. I've even tried the "Reset all printer settings" option, but it has not worked.

 

It was during this point that I also discovered the second issue: the Wi-Fi is completely disabled on the printer--the option to turn it on/off is  set to off and is completely greyed out.

 

Did I mess something up when I updated the firmware or is this something different and any ideas on how I go about fixing it?
