Thanks for the update. Do you have any recommendations for the temp increase?
For PLA curently I'm printing at 210 C, would a 10 - 15C increase be advisable?

If you have installed a steel nozzle you will likely need to increase the nozzle temperature a bit even for PLA.
Additionally,
I would caution about printing abrasives on the 2+ Connect.
This isn't recommended by UltiMaker as it may damage the feeder overtime, its not rated for use with abrasive materials.
It would also be why UltiMaker does not directly sell a hardened nozzle for the 2+ Connect.
