S5 Printing Question

Hello,

I am printing a fairly large (tall) print on my Ultimaker S5 (firmware 8.3.1) using the Cura "Balanced" profile.  I have done some smaller prints with this profile and haven't noticed anything out of the ordinary, but on this print it is moving so fast my printer is vibrating and making new noises.  I am just curious if anyone has experience with this profile and the S5, and are the noises a bad thing for my printer?  Seems like printing like this will decrease the life span of my printer.  It won't let me attach my short videos to the thread.

Thanks for any guidance you may have.

Alex

I glossed over zip being accepted, thanks Torgeir.

    Here are the videos.

It is on a flat sturdy surface.  I just accepted the default settings for "balanced" on this print.  I will check the actual speed setting when I get back to my printer.

To me, this looks fine.  As long as you aren't experiencing any print quality issues, this is normal.

That vibration that you are experiencing between the outer-walls and the infill seems normal and is a factor of the extrusion lines being very small.
If it bothers you, You can set Infill Printing speed to slower, or You can also enable Jerk control and reduce jerk to 6-8mm/s(?)  and that may likely help with the jerkyness on the infill.

If the S5 had input shaping then the vibrations could be much less, but for now we at least have jerk control in the slicer settings available.

Just wanted to put a bow on this, the jerk control setting was the ticket.  The balanced profile had it defaulted at 50mm/s.  I took it down to 20mm/s and the obnoxiousness was gone!  @RaidenUltimaker, really appreciate you pointing me in that direction.
