Posted (edited) · CC 0.6 Print Core Stuck in Printer

I’m using the Ultimaker S5 currently running on version 8.2.0. I ran a print on it and when I came back a couple hours later, there was a huge blob of filament all over the nozzle as you can see in the first picture. I removed the most of it however couldn’t get the bits on the inside. I tried to remove the print core out of the printer itself but to no avail. There isn’t any filament in the nozzle stopping it from coming out so I don’t know whats holding it in. My guess is that there may be filament holding it in place, but not sure

    Solution:

I heated the print core up to around 250 degrees Celsius and as I pulled the core out this time it came straight out.
