    I only play UnrealTournament (2k4). What's nice about that is that you can just drop in and out. Get in, blow off some steam for 15 minutes and jump out. Or stay for an hour or two when your nemesis is in the server and you can't leave without winning at least once... :p

    Wow, it certainly has a high price point, I wonder if the benefits of a Carbon Fiber system really make that much of a difference?

     

    Maybe if you were producing lower limb prosthetics, but I can't think of a lot of applications for the average person printing. I guess an engineering department might benefit from it.

    Just two short questions for you UMO owners out there:

    http://wiki.ultimaker.com/Hot_end_v2 makes me believe the bowden tube lock goes in the wood directly, while https://shop.ultimaker.com/Content/Images/Articles/Um-1_11.png shows a black injection mold piece:

    Since I don't have the black part(but do have the lock thanks to Daid!!!) Can it actually go in the wood like that :O? I've never seen that in any UMO.

    Also, I noticed the PEEK in the store is quite dark, and mine is quite light, has there been a change in PEEK since like 1-2 years?

    The black piece is a later addition. Mine goes straight into the wood. IIRC it was done so that they wouldn't have to chamfer the hole in the wood piece.

    It was ultimaker day... and I had my first encounter with a Ultimaker to go...and It's Cute!!!

    Even had the privilege to switch it on :):).

    I've been super busy the last 2 weeks and I'm on my way to GDC in San Francisco now. If anyone else is going let me know and we can have a beer or coffee and talk!

    my day, well the past few weeks was very dry, no payrise (when everything else has gone up!) however been helping a work coluege on a project and finnaly earning money for 3D printing stuff! also, we may be moving the company 3D printer into our office. oh boy, one guy cant even stand the sound of pens clicking, wait till he gets an earfull of the printer!

    LOL 0235... 3d printers next to your desk is a nightmare :)

    I quit my job months ago. Never gonna earn enough working for stingy companies :p

        New features
         
        Temperature status. During print preparation, the temperatures of the print cores and build plate will be shown on the display. This gives a better indication of the progress and remaining wait time. Save log files in paused state. It is now possible to save the printer's log files to USB if the currently active print job is paused. Previously, the Dump logs to USB option was only enabled if the printer was in idle state. Confirm print removal via Digital Factory. If the printer is connected to the Digital Factory, it is now possible to confirm the removal of a previous print job via the Digital Factory interface. This is useful in situations where the build plate is clear, but the operator forgot to select Confirm removal on the printer’s display. Visit this page for more information about this feature.
