Posted (edited) · Cura 5.7.1 does noch finish Slicing

Hi,

I've a great Problem: Slicing 2 days before finishes without Problems. Printing was OK. Today I was going to print the same model, same profile but Cura stopped Slicing by the half. CPU and Memory at 100% (Cura needs 95% CPU-Time).

What's wrong? Reboot of the PC didn't help.

Can someone of you imagine what's happened?

Sorry for my English - I'm from Austria 😉

lg
Steve

I'm having the same problem with Cura 5.6. It worked fine yesterday morning and today slicing only goes to the halfway mark and just stalls.

Cura's slicing engine can be funny. And by that I mean incredibly annoying. Often something like moving your model a little bit on the plate can turn a failed slice into a successful one. Or change a setting (almost any setting) slice, and if it's successful, change it back and slice again and it should work.
