You so rock. I work on solid corners. One of these days I'll spend more time looking to see what the heck before crying to you guys.
BTW, what in particular did you do to fix it? I'm good at slogging through but what the heck, never too shy to ask. TYVM, PDC

The model has errors and when Cura tries to figure out where the "outside" ends and the "inside" begins it gets confused. The errors seem to be related to the hollow corners. I tried fixing it in MS 3D Builder and although the repaired model slices different, it's still wrong.
It looks like the walls are 1mm thick but at the midpoint of the outside corner it's only .68mm. That coupled with the fuzzy skin variance of 0.3 drops the area below a line width and so Cura sees gaps there.
Here you can see right into the corner void. When that starts, fuzzy stops.
If you make those corners solid the problem should go away.
Here is one I just scribbled up. No problem with the fuzzy skin on the outside only.
