Spiralize and remove all holes problem

Hey guys I am new to 3d-printing. At the moment I am trying to print a lampshade with just one 0.4mm side wall (pic 1)Pic1.thumb.jpg.179faaf3ea21974b1c0e1a21e25c0aad.jpg To make it look a little better I activated the "print thin walls" and "spiralize outer contour" option. After slicing it looks ok, but the holes at the bottom layers got removed (pic. 2)Pic2.thumb.jpg.255b1fc135b7c58a04343e79207428fc.jpg

So I deactivated "remove all holes" and now cura created loads of these lines going from the z-seam to the wall line in this layer. (pic. 3) Pic3.thumb.jpg.c36571f33a32371a7b5495e34aee7d77.jpg

How can I get rid of this.

I hope you can help me.

Thank you in advance.

Printer is neptune 3pro

Please post your project file by doing menu "file" "save project" and posting that file.  This will include your model.

With spiralize you are supposed to use a solid part and cura will convert it to be hollow.  For example if you post a simple solid cylinder, cura will create a cup.  It removes the top and doesn't print any infill.

Unfortunately in your first image it appears that your part is not solid.  Also it looks like you want triangular holes in the bottom.  I think that will work if the bottom is flat.  So you can do triangular holes but only in a few layers at the bottom and then the rest should be solid.

I think spiralise mode always uses the normal line width, but just in case, set Walls > Minimum Wall Line Width to 0.4mm.

You could also try changing Experimental > Slicing Tolerance to Inclusive.

This is in regular view, not spiralise:

You need to make that part of the model solid (except for the holes of course). You can do this by setting Top/Bottom > Initial Bottom Layers to 15 (for this model, if you're trying this with other models you need to go up to the top of any cutouts).

That will give you this (which has spiralise turned on):

Thank you so much I got it.

And is there a possibility to create infill just in the 15 bottom layers and not the rest?

If you're not spiralising it (which has no infill)? Just set the initial bottom layers to 15 (or set it to the default value like 4 if you want the holes to be taken out but not completely fill the layer) and Infill > Infill Density to 0%.

(And if you're not spiralising it but want it to be hollow, set Top/Bottom > Top Layers to 0.)
