Hi Ian, I don't had understood your question. But thaks
There are some horizontal gaps on your model, I think Ian is wondering if you experienced under-extrusion during printing (printer not squeezing out enough plastic for whatever reason) Because generally speaking, gaps like that doesn't usually happen unless there is some printing issue.
Really like the paintjob though, really makes it pop!
Oh ok, I'm not sure what is the reason for the crack on the model because during the printing i had leaved the printer alone. In the settings of cura i've used the nornal level of slicing, the material is ABS. The temperature is 260° and the FR is 100%
I made a separate thread here for these guys explaining what they are: http://umforum.ultimaker.com/index.php?/topic/3055-sarahs-jenner/
Hi Guys,
there it is my last creature. He is Kenshiro from Hokuto no Ken/Fist of the north star. Obviulsly sclupted by me and printed with the Ultimaker in PLA. It is tall 12 cm and printed in 4 different parts and glued together (torso/legs/left hand/right hand). It's only a test, I'll print next one 24 cm tall .
Regards,
Riccardo
that looks great! I'm surprised how well the hair and fingers printed. Got nice definition.
Hi Guys,
there it is the 20 cm model sanded and with a layer of primer (14 hours of printing in PLA). Hope you will like it.
oh my god, we all have to start paiting our models like this... how amazing is that ! :-)
A quick update, forgot to submit it last night. Added a bit of color to the model. It is i use the airbrush for paint a model than sorry if the color isn't the best
amazing!!! The print already looked very good, but the print job is excellent!
i love the modesty... oh sorry for the bad quality airbrush... HAHAHAH
bloody amazing end result !
Super :-)
Ian
Thanks I love the ultimaker an i want to push it to the limit This is why i don't like the painting job i've done.
Wow amazing ken!
By the way are you italie ? For some strange reason i have never heared of the fist of the north star till living in london for a while and meeting many italiens. They all had in common, that they were always chatting about ken xD
Anyway here is one of my prints:
It' s one of my printed lampshades. Made up of three parts and printed in the amazing golden pla that is a bit translucent! It has a wonderful warm light!
Nothing fancy, weird, dual color or very special.
Just something that helps paying the bills :-P.
Could use more of those.....
Perfect skirts! I'm going to save a link to this picture for when people want an example of a perfect skirt!

Took me forever to do this. And it is still rougher than I would have liked. 3D concept rendering: Finished piece:

I just finished this. It was a multi-part print for ease of painting. Some of it I am not sure what happened...but hey, it is purty....And, I am unanimous in that ? Test Render Parts

Bath interferometers. I have made about 20 of these for people who use them to test their telescope mirrors. They are amazingly accurate and can do better than a $40,000 Zygo PSI optical tester. Th
