Hi everyone,

I got myself a nice Polaroid Play Smart to do few projects and just finished setting up Cura for it.

I know that the printer is discontinued and all links to it are no longer available online.

I was wondering if anyone could upload the Cura profiles and Materials that were available at some point for download. Would really love to have those files for the PLA, PETG and PWOOD materials. Also if anyone has the "ABS" profile, would really love to have that.

If files are a no go, perhaps screenshots of the settings themselves so i can set it up on my end manually?

I had a quick look through all available images and videos online and it seems, besides the actual additional listing in the materials, the "Generic" materials look the same?

Any help with this would really be appreciated.

If you're just using generic filament (did they produce their own brand stuff for it even? I've never heard of it before) then using the generic material profiles in Cura should work fine.

And if they don't work fine... just come back here and we'll be happy to help 😄

As for ABS: if there never was an official profile for it, it's possible your printer might not support it. It prints hotter than PLA or PETG and frankly is just a pain to work with if you don't have a really good reason to be printing ABS in the first place.
