Posted · Custom material (BVOH) not showing up

Hi guys, I recently got BASF’s Ultrafuse BVOH to use as a support filament with my Ultimaker S7 printer and material station. I installed the material’s print profile by downloading it from the manufactures website and dragging and dropping it in Cura 5.8.0.

The material profile loaded in and then I was greeted with the synchronization wizard when I restarted Cura.

I loaded the .umm file of the new material onto a USB stick and uploaded it to my printer where it said 1 new material was added. However, when I went onto the material station screen on my printer it still said 'Unknown' for the BVOH slot and when I clicked on ‘select type’ of material I couldn’t find the BVOH material anywhere.

Please could someone tell me if I did something wrong or missed a step.

My printer firmware version: 8.2.1
