Posted (edited) · Looking for an easy way to document/archive Cura settings

Hi Y'all

I'm looking for an easy way to review and document (and perhaps export for archive reason) changes made on the settings in Cura.

e.g.

Working with different materials with different settings, I might not remember all the changes I have made in the current settings.

I know Cura is asking me wen closing the apps, what I want to do with the current settings, discard or keep it.

Perhaps it  would be a solution to be able to save/export the changes listed at this moment  to a file/folder/database.

Maybe there is already a way and I just haven't found it.

Any reply is much appreciated.

TIA

- Using Cura 5.8/5.9.0-beta2-linu-64 on Linux Mint

- If you should need more information (project file) please let me know.

I don't know about documenting changes but the plugin talked about in this thread allows you to export your profiles to html & if you do it before & after you make any changes you could compare to two for differences

Easiest way: Cura saves your current quality profile in a project file! So you just need to add something simple (like a cube) to a scene, set everything and up, and save the project.
