Posted · UM3 extended lift calibration impossible, fails every time. firmware 5.3.0

Hello, i have a problem with the calibration of the lift switch.

I am unable to get it work, if i place the printhead a few cm before the holder the head makes the right movement but if i place the switch in the holder it looks like the head want to move to far, all the belts are at tension , can move the head with one finger and the axes are also in line, not sure what i can try to get it solved?

I included a zip with 2 mp4 files (one to far before the switch holder, the other in the right position but fails and sound not good).

Thanks,

Solved, this was a second hand printer with er17, i changed the position of the X and Y switch on the board an this problem was solved but a new problem arrived, the head calibration error, the connection of the X and Y motor was switched so i placed the X and Y to the correct connection on the motherboard, changed the motor X and Y and now this works, still need to print to test but maybe this can help someone with the same problem 🙂
