Hi,

Having problems when slicing a design that is separated into two stl-files.

Need the inner structure for better strength.

But my problem is that the walls for the two stl-files don´t intersect with one another.

It´s a gap between the walls of both parts. (Designed as same diameter)

This would have been a problem if this was a multicolor print as well.

Solutions? 🤔

If the problem part is the part I think you're trying to say it is, it has nothing to do with being two meshes - you just need to lower Walls > Minimum Wall Line Width (0.24mm is a good guideline figure for 0.4mm nozzles) for it to generate wall in that area because it's too small for the default minimum width:

If you're using multiple meshes about the only setting you need to worry about to make sure they're going together properly is to have Mesh Fixes > Union Overlapping Volumes on (which it should be by default).

P.S. Next time if you think the problem might be that it's two meshes, it'd be awesome 😃 if you didn't unintentionally confuse us by posting your project file with the meshes in a group, making it look like there's only one object. Though  since unlike a lot of people, you actually posted the project file straight away, I can't complain 🙂

Sorry, didn´t get the arrow in the picture.

The problem is at the "dowels". They are a sepatare mesh. And it is a gap inbetween when slicing.

Tried to lower the minimum line width but makes no difference.

Tested all the mesh attributes but nothing happens.

Sry, the meshes was merged in the project file, but makes no difference. (new upload)
