Posted · Cant find non-planar lattice structure print settings

A few years ago I printed this model and few others using this expiremtal non planar print settings as shown in the image, but I can't find the name of the setting or any documentation about it anywhere. I'm 99% sure i sliced this with cura  definitely an older version I would say at least 2 years ago. Does anyone else remember this or know whay I'm talking about? Does this still exist? I'm not one to usually post about anything but I really can't find anything about this.

Unless you can achieve that by pulling off a certain infill pattern just right and disabling walls and skin (or just modelling it that way) I don't think such a feature exists in current versions.

It's possible that smartavionics' fork of Cura might have that feature, it's based on Cura 4 but adds a lot of little things.

It looks like "Wire Printing" and yes, it was removed as it was buggy and seldom used.

I think it existed in Cura up until 5.3 but there were issues (maybe related to variable line width?).

If you install Cura 4.13.1 (HERE under "assets") it will have it.  There were 21 settings involved so there was a lot of maintenance.

(The SmartAvionics fork of Cura does include Wire Printing).
