    Hey @giugni,

I moved your topic out of the release thread, because that makes it easier to troubleshoot your bug.

Do you have a project file for us? It contains the printer and settings we need for troubleshooting.

To save a project file go to File -> Save project.

Thank you for opening a thread for me,

    attached is the project file

    i saw two problems:

    - the infill going throgh wall

    - the outer and inner wall seams are not random but in the "same area"

    Hi @giugni,

Thanks for sharing the project file. 💪

I took a look and it seems that the infill through wall is caused by your Connect Infill Lines setting. If you disable it, you'll see that the infill is not going through the wall anymore.

Your problem with the randomness is really puzzling me. I'll bring it up to the team to see what they can do to improve it. But I expect that if it's not a quick fix it will not get a high priority to implement.

    So, fingers crossed 🤞

    Thank you for your help

attached is the same stl and same profile but sliced in cura 5.7.2

Connect Infill Lines setting, you see is enabled and works properly

I mean, i would like to keep this setting on eheh

Thank you to inform the team about the randomness

I can wait for both to be fixed and use the v5.7.2 in the meantime, no problem 🙂

    Hi Folks.

This is very interesting and "kind of" looks like a problem we've seen before.

Please let me explain, when I'd become interested in this new version of Cura I found version 5.3.1 most interesting.

As I do lots of small tiny object for various purpose among all the RC aircraft wings etc.

Those wing mostly use "light weight" PLA as we want them as light as possible, but also have to be strong..

During this time we have seen these lines go through the fill, where it should not be, but by activating the rotation mode of the object and turning off "snap rotation" then rotates -say 3.74 degrees -all problems disappeared like magic.

Yes, you may have to try a number of different numbers, but always worked for me.

So sure, fired up Cura 5.9.0 and made just this test. At first try all issues gone, but at other positions (degree setting) the strings could pop up at various other places.  I've been wondering if this issue could be a "rounding" error as rotating "can" fix it?

When I turned off "Connect Infill Lines", all this stinging lines was gone and things look fine, except for the "offset of" lines sometimes become visible in the conic infill rising upward.

However, slicing this object with the given "project" file using Cura 5.3.1 shows an "excellent" sliced object.

Thanks for all good job to Cura Team.

    Torgeir
