understanding of cura problem which leads to inefficient prints

Why does cura make such a werid stop in the middle of the outer curve?

 

 

most if not all settings are rather similar to an earlier improvement suggested here by an expert

 

 

As far as I can tell the model we are talking about here in this thread is flat and has no breaks. But I guess there must be otherwise why is Cura generating this laid back gcode? 🙂

I think I cracked the code. Z seam to left and seam corner pref to expose.

 

now the print head makes uninterrupted moves 🙂
