Hi Nick !!

dont clean it ! it is NOT RUST !!

Thats a special and exspensive copper paste to stop the corresion between different types of metal within the hotend construction.

Dont remove it... !

    Or, go to a store to look for mechanical copper grease. We find that qupportent 1000 ° C.

     

    It actually serves to prevent corosion between two metallic elements and in addition it prevents the plastic from escaping through the net.

     

    This is not a tab which conducts heat!
