I'm having 2 problems printing bridges.

first - it seems cura(4) is not identifying bridges correctly, and therefore not enabling cooling fan when printing them, resulting in mess (i busted the printer doing bridges with cooling fans off).
second: i made a test print with cooling fan 100% on, and verified it was 100% on, and yet i get the bridge like in the picture.

What am i doing wrong? i thought cooling fans broken, but they actually work when forced on

Material: pla neutral
Temp: 196C

Which exact Cura version are you using?
Current Cura is 5.9. The last Cura v4 release was v4.13.1 from 3 years ago (2022-1)
Why do you still use a v4 version?

In Cura, check the following settings:

    • 'Enable print cooling' is enabled
    • 'Regular Fan Speed at Height' = 0.2mm
    • 'Regular Fan Speed at Layer' = 2

For finding these settings I prefer to use the search function, sometimes these settings are hidden.
