Posted · InFill % based on layer?

Is it possible in CURA to change infill % between segments of layers. As example, just a 3D print of a cylinder but the bottom half is 100% infill while the upper half is only 25%. Or, the cylinder is divided into 3rds and the middle 1/3 is 25%. Is this possible?

That is one of the functions of the Support Blockers.

    Select your model.

On the left toolbar select the Support Blocker Tool and place the block on your model.

Select the "Per Model Tool" and set the block to "Modify Settings for Overlaps".

Use "Select Settings" and select Infill Density.

Scale the block to the size you need and move it to where you want it.

The model here is Grid infill at 15% and I have the block set to Gyroid at 50%.

You can design your own model and make it do that trick.  It doesn't have to be a rectangular solid.

This is a round block with the infill density at 0%.
