For some reason Cura on Linux stores a few things in ~/.config/cura/<version number>/ (the folder you found) but most of it is in ~/.local/share/cura/<version number>/
Copy things to where they are already in Linux (there's a scripts folder in both, copy it to ~/.local/share/cura/<version number>/).
Copying cura.cfg will be a little hassle at first because all the recent files and last saved location and such will be Windows paths so it'll probably just reset the save location and the recent files just won't work.
You don't need to copy the cura.log file at all.
