on my 3d printer (ender 3 v3 se) it always prints at the bottom left, even though the gcode viewer shows it in the middle. How can I fix this?

In the Prepare view, click on the dropdown printer list at the top left and click Manage printers. Yours should be selected by default (most people who aren't me probably don't have more than one set up anyway) so click Machine Settings. You need to make sure Origin at Center is turned off:

Once it's turned off just close the settings window and the preferences window and get back to slicing 🙂
