What shall I say? First, it's easy to find if you wrote the code by yourself... ;)

Second, thanks Daid, you're great... It works fine with 14.04-RC1! :)

Yeah, I just need the right triggers to find stuff like this. I didn't expect someone else to find something like this as easy as I did.

The GCodeInterpreter is one of the oldest pieces of code in Cura. It's older then the name Cura. (It's also one of the slowest pieces of code)

    Daid, your THE man...

With this little fixes, you managed to safe my litte subnotebooks ass

All errors I reported in the 14.02/14.03... RC-posts are gone!

With this fallback, the 14.04. runs also on my old stuff without any error messages.

Now I can use the nice new features for support e.g. also for my dual printhead setup.

    Thank you !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

PS: is in 14.04 RC1 also the second filament diameter properly implemented?

    Nope.

I'm actually working on making it possible to set almost all settings per nozzle. Which will make a lot more sense then implementing it per setting.

@drayson: As we already are a bit off-topic: In (newer) Marlin, there is the possibility to define the filament diameter by an http://reprap.org/wiki/G-code#M200_-_Set_filament_diameter_.2F_Get_Endstop_Status per extruder (e.g. in the start.gcode).

This makes it necessary that the GCODE contains volumetric extrusion information. With Cura, you have two possibilities: either you use the new flavour 'RepRap (Volumetric)' which Daid has implemented in Cura some days ago and which will be in the next version or you set the diameter to 1.128mm which results in the same E-numbers.

      • S-Line Firmware 8.3.0 was released Nov. 20th on the "Latest" firmware branch.
(Sorry, was out of office when this released)

        This update is for...
        All UltiMaker S series
        New features

Temperature status. During print preparation, the temperatures of the print cores and build plate will be shown on the display. This gives a better indication of the progress and remaining wait time. Save log files in paused state. It is now possible to save the printer's log files to USB if the currently active print job is paused. Previously, the Dump logs to USB option was only enabled if the printer was in idle state. Confirm print removal via Digital Factory. If the printer is connected to the Digital Factory, it is now possible to confirm the removal of a previous print job via the Digital Factory interface. This is useful in situations where the build plate is clear, but the operator forgot to select Confirm removal on the printer’s display. Visit this page for more information about this feature.
