Also some XT material was in it.
Would really be great if this happens during a weekend once in a while :( would love to see you guys and meet colorfabb as i really enjoy their filaments.
Hope to see the video soon
It was good to hear some of the solid reasoning behind the colorfabb material choices. For some time now, I have been hoping for a PLA/ABS hybrid (combining low-shrinkage from PLA with smoothability from ABS) but now I know why it won't come from Colorfabb (styrenes are baaad).
I'm looking forward to using more metal-fill filaments. Bronzefill really made me "fall in love" with my printer all over again.
If I could suggest something to set Colorfabb apart from many (if not all) other filament producers, it would be a line of colored matte (non-glossy) filaments. High gloss accentuates surface imperfections, and hopefully a non-glossy surface would be sandable.

That's why colorFabb developed XT, it print just as fine as PLA with no fumes while printing and has the properties of ABS: low-shrinkage, high impact strength, high tensile strength, good bondage between layers, glass transition of 70 degrees.
As a newbie I learned a lot on this evening. A special thanks to Blizz who gave me a huge amount of information. It will sure help me a lot to make good prints with the U2.

It depends it's not really the distance (i'm just something like 3h away from Ulti-HQ) but during the week i work (in luxembourg) so it adds an extra time and i would'nt be able to reach before 9pm... would probably be the same if it's in the Antwerpen region...
Didier: It would be in Gent, so I don't know about the distance for you.
I also don't know if they will allow us to do it during the weekend there, guess that will become clear somewhere after September.
I agree about the weekend for the ones in Utrecht though. I love to come to those meetings but it's a lot of effort to make it there in time for me as well
Ill continue to reply to this thread in English so everyone can read.
(if you want, I can open a new thread in the language section especially for the Dutchies!)
Hi Sander,
Would be a good idea i guess!! Like french german and italian on the mainpage.
I spoke and read people who buy a Ultimaker because it's a dutch product,
And wonder why they have to learn English.
For most Young and/or technical people no problem, but still people around who rather write in Dutch.
Would not hurt to give it a try, IMHO.
Your busy enough I guess, so I volunteer as moderator if one is needed
Agree with that, make a Dutch section.

One bronze and two of the others. The darkest one is the bronze.
