i did, multiple times. I already added other Plugins to my cura, which is why i wonder if there is something I missed, specifically with this plugin.

by the way, I am using Cura 14.12.1 on both Ultimaker 1 and 2. Maybe that helps?

thanks, but nothing happened. I copied the text from your link and replaced with it everything that is in the swapAtZ.py file I had before. After that I started Cura and still nothing.

Can you show me the path where you placed the file? It should be something like this:

    C:\Program Files (x86)\Cura_14.12.1\plugins

    Try this:

    - Close Cura

    - Delete this file: C:\Users\<username>\.cura\14.12.1\output_log.txt

    - Open Cura

    - Close Cura

    - Post the content of the output_log.txt file (not more than the last 100 lines please :))

    hi again,

the path is exactly as you wrote: C:\Program Files (x86)\Cura_14.12.1\plugins

About the txt in the output_log.txt:

Listening for engine communications on 49674

    Closing down

Since you wrote about 100 lines, I wonder if there is the problem.

    thanks already

    Hi Taires,

Any luck getting it to work? Your log doesn't contain any errors.

Are you sure you are starting the Cura associated with that version? I ask because I usually have 4 different versions installed and sometimes start the wrong one by mistake.

Can you try with a different version of Cura?

Is a fantastic work, I have tried testing with "only follow mesh surface" expert setting, but don't work (one gcode with and the other without this option). Do you know how fix this?

    Hi,

Yes I know how to fix it. I just need the time to do it. I had the same issue with spiralize mode.

    Hi Nacho,

I released a new version on youmagine that should fix your issue. I have only tested it a little due to my horrible schedule at the moment.

I hope this can help you.

doesn't work for me. when changing from normal mode to spiralized and referring to the normal gcode it still saves it spiralized (cura 15.02.1, tested different paths/ directories).

I tested it and... works great! :-P (tested with "only follow mesh surface" expert setting in cura 15.02.1)

Thank you for your efforts. Only that you can't see the final results in the layers view when you apply it. You need to close Cura and open the gcode (previously saved) for watching the result in layers view. If you fix this it would be brilliant.

      • S-Line Firmware 8.3.0 was released Nov. 20th on the "Latest" firmware branch.
(Sorry, was out of office when this released)

        This update is for...
        All UltiMaker S series
        New features

Temperature status. During print preparation, the temperatures of the print cores and build plate will be shown on the display. This gives a better indication of the progress and remaining wait time. Save log files in paused state. It is now possible to save the printer's log files to USB if the currently active print job is paused. Previously, the Dump logs to USB option was only enabled if the printer was in idle state. Confirm print removal via Digital Factory. If the printer is connected to the Digital Factory, it is now possible to confirm the removal of a previous print job via the Digital Factory interface. This is useful in situations where the build plate is clear, but the operator forgot to select Confirm removal on the printer’s display. Visit this page for more information about this feature.
