Changing layer angles?

Recommended Posts

Good evening... First time poster... I have a rostock max v2 that i love, but ive only recently started using Cura, which.... wait for it..... I love..

its been the best slicer ive used so far for quality on this large print im working on.

Question i have is as the first layer is being drawn, then filled in, it always prints on 45 degree angle from the permiter.. is there a way to make it print perpendicular?

Reason i ask, is at the very top most layer thats visible, often times the angles look terrible, and the perps, look much better.

thank you

    • Taking Advantage of DfAM
This is a statement that’s often made about AM/3DP. I'll focus on the way DfAM can take advantage of some of the unique capabilities that AM and 3DP have to offer. I personally think that the use of AM/3DP for light-weighting is one of it’s most exciting possibilities and one that could play a key part in the sustainability of design and manufacturing in the future.
