Nice to hear from you again!
The corexy is just waiting ... and waiting until there's some spare time again.
Nice work with the feeder. I especially like the filament guiding. Did you machine it by yourself?

Been busy with exams and university in general ...
Need to get the AC wiring done, then I can test if it works well.
Yes I did all the machining on a 3-axis CNC. All CNC programs written by hand, no CAM involved ... wouldn't do that again
The feeder is much better to be printed than machined. If I had a CNC at hand I would much rather do a redesign to integrate the Hotend into the extruder body and maybe watercool that.
Also I'm doing a more or less regular write up of the build in the Reprap forum, if youre interested:

Edited by GuestNice build. It looks similar to the FolgerTech FT-5 I am putting together.
Prepare for early May

Really nice we will keep waiting patiently, keep up the good work.
Really hope you can help us very soon with this upgrade, i am on the fence buying another printer, and that would ofcourse be dual extrusion!!
New video uploaded.

don't do it I'd wait, I jumped last year, and I can see benefits with the Upgrade/Mod that I think will make the jump to dual head printing easier for you...

Yes i will wait...
and to keep cost low, will start with my old um2 extruder kit, which i have as a spare after upgrading the UM2 to UM2+
Nice!!
Have fun watching
Nice, can't wait to print all the parts to try. I'm still waiting for the second extruder kit. What materials can it use? 1.75mm or 2.85mm?
All is setup for 2.85, but I see no reason why the 2th extruder can't be a 1.75 conversion.
The firmware supports e-steps per feeder, rotation direction per feeder, Cura supports different line widths per head.... should be ok. Think you'll be the first if you go this route. How do you want to do it? a 1.75 bondtech ?

With this setup 1.75mm. Still have some issues with the temperature, i am waiting for the new 24v 40w heater to arrive. Luckily the temp is stable now and i have better quality print.
I still don't know what things should i get for the dual head mod. Is there a bill of material somewhere?
I already would like to order the magnets, and possible be a donator ;-)
Keep up the work guys, i follow your website, looking good!!!

I'm working on it. Almost ready. Will be ready early next month when all files get released.

You can oder at least 10 pcs of cylindrical magnets 6 mm dia x 3 mm thickness, holding force approx 900 gr. I will also offer a small package with the magnets, necessary screws and hopefully the required cable extensions.

Cool, be glad to tested it out next month.

Perfect
Congratulations for your work.
I'm Ready to go only short of the Bondetch and the main cable (black sheathed) thinking about it I have the heater - temp probe that would mean it is only the fan cables left in there is that correct...
