UM2 dual extrusion <> marlin

I'm trying to get dual extrusion working on my Ultimaker2

(https://ultimaker.com/en/community/view/10657-a-different-multi-extrusion-approach-um-tool-printhead-changer?page=24)

I took the UM2 marlin from github, and made the following changes;

Configuration.h > #define EXTRUDERS 2

Configuration.h > #define TEMP_SENSOR_2 20

Configuration_adv.h > #define EXTRUDERS 2

When testing a dual extrusion print from Cura (UltiGcode) the print starts, priming works, but then the Y axis stepper is starting to move extrtemely slow, and no extrusion, making me think the printer is switching the Extrudor <> Y motors ..

Any idea whats going on ?

Do I need to make more changes to the firmware ? (I see menus are not ok for dual extrusion, but thats not a big deal for now)

Also the 2th nozzle is not heating, display says 23C/-1C

From a hardware perspective everything is ok, I printed already with the 2th head from Simplify3D, and can control the temp.

    Wild guess: A few times, I had an extremely slow moving Y axis after picking up the printhead when Cura's minimum layer time came into effect. When slicing Cura has no idea that there will be such a long distance to move after picking up the head. However, after completing this initial move the print continued as expected.

    You might check the F value in the first G0/1 command after the change sequence.
