Hi:
I have a problem that my model (prepared by sketchup) looks correct but the Cura Layer view always ignores one of the surfaces inside a tube. I got a walk-around solution but wonder what causes the problem.
test2.stl: https://gofile.me/21ohr/lfoA62eU is the model I would like to print. The "Normal" view shows the model correctly but a surface in the "Layer" view is missing. Therefore, the model cannot be printed correctly.
I try a simpler model
test1.stl:
https://gofile.me/21ohr/G2QBJbY7
where the outer tube is removed and everything looks correct (in both Normal view and Layer view)
Any idea what went wrong?
The two sketchup files (ver. 14.0.49) are here.
test2.skp: https://gofile.me/21ohr/p2CiipI5
test1.skp: https://gofile.me/21ohr/4rlI7tHE
BTW, I tried all kinds of combinations in "Fix Horrible" and they do not work.
Thanks
