I'm really new to this so please go easy on me!
Does anyone know if I can use scans to create a geography (3D texture) that I can then apply to other objects? i.e. scan the skin of an avocado and then paste it over the outside of a teacup.
I've managed something similar with bump maps from pictures but would love to be able to use my scans and combine them.
Cut and paste 3d scan geographies?

Thank you for taking the time to reply and I will definitely explore this option however I would ideally like to use 3D textures/geographies from parts of scans in order to apply specific textures from one scan onto parts of another. I’m very new to this and looking through some of the programmes I feel I’m over looking something obvious. Maybe the shrink wrap function in blender can be used in some way?
