  1. I have the Ultimaker S5 and I'm using a filament called Polycast from Polymaker.

     

    There is a plug-in for Cura that adds this filament to the software. I set up the print in Cura to use Polycast in the AA core and PVA in BB.

     

    When I go to the S5 though, when I load the filament, it gets stuck on the "Detecting filament" step. It just spins and does nothing. Should I just select something random at this point? I tried PLA and when I go to print the file, it says there's a conflict and "This print job is prepared for a different printer configuration."

     

    So is there a way to add the Polycast to the actual S5? or does this not matter?

     

    It looks like PolyCast is PVB (PolyVinyl Butyral) and there is no option for this when selecting the filament type on the S5.
