I don't see a way of deleting my question above. I think I have found the solution to my problem and this can be deleted.

I intend to use my town library's Ultimaker S2+ Connect printer. The files will be accessed via USB. At home I have installed Cura. I have followed the library's instructions (and those found online) to attempt to install a non-networked printer. However, there does not seem to be ANY option to do so and thus I cannot create a project in Cura. If I attempt to open a file I am asked to install a printer... In these forums there is a post from Feb 2023 that shows a dropdown for adding a non-networked printer. That dropdown does not exist in the software I installed today (Jul 2024). Has Ultimaker removed the ability to add a non-networked printer? If so, that seems a pretty s**t thing to do. Anyone have any suggestions?
