[Cura 2.1.1 Profile Location]

Looks like it's in one of the appdata folders which is where programs are supposed to store data.  program files folder is for executable code, not configuration code.  You need admin right to modify files there.  So most programs use the registry or appdata folders.  Mine is here - your appdata folder will be different depending on your username:

C:\Users\gr5\AppData\Local\cura

[Change Start/End gCode in 2.1.1]

How do I change my start/end gCode in Cura 2.1.1? I noticed it's in the cfg files for under resources/printers, however if I update it there and import a profile from cura 15.x I noticed that end gcode is actually there twice.

So where is the proper place to set this?

I've created several profiles in Cura 2.1.1 and I'm curious where they reside on the file system?

I expected them somewhere in C:\Program Files (x86)\Cura_15.04.5\resources but they're not saved in any of the subfolders.

Any help would be appreciated!

And yes, I know I can export the profiles to a specific folder, but that's not what I'm after. Thank you!
