I use Elementary OS too. I installed it as follows and it works:

 

sudo add-apt-repository ppa:thopiekar/curasudo apt-get updatesudo apt-get install cura

I have try to install cura 2.1.3 use gdebi

but after finish install try to open, the program not open :/

anystep I missed?

or any one can give me links or step by step to install and make it works?
