[Draw line instead of skirt]

I like how Ultimakers and Makerbots draw a line from one side of the bed to the other. Is there some way to do this?

[Cura 2.3 Wont Print]

Hello all,

My Printrbot Simple Metal connects just fine to my computer and other software but when I try to print something off Cura 2.3 it doesn't see the printer.

Here is a screenshot:

Any help would be great. Also in the old Cura (v15) I didn't like how you could move the axis. I would still like this feature, but a better more clean/modern UI with the ability to control print speed as a print is printing.
