[Cura's Code Outline]

Is there an outline for what function each subprogram of Cura performs? I need to modify part of the code so that it can output the line from the gcode to Solidworks, but I don't know where to look.

Sorry that my request is so weird.

My goal is to be able to use a computer to fill in a profile with a continuous zigzag line for a project at work. I figured that a 3-D printer slicer was as good a place to start as any since what I am trying to do is similar to how a printer works. I would eventually like to be able to take the line into solidworks which I know is possible with the right macro so long as I can get the line as a series of points.

That being said I can't figure out how to view the computational part of Cura's code. Can anyone point me in the right direction as to where it actually calculates the appropriate print path when given a slice?
