I recently bought a Chinese knockoff extruder upgrade kit but I'm having trouble getting it configured properly in my firmware.
After some mechanical issues (the kit did not come with a metal mounting plate) I managed to install the kit by adding an extra astrosyn damper between the motor and the enclosure so that the motor shaft does not stick out too far. But now I'm stuck since I can't get it to work properly.
My main QUESTION is: what is the required DEFAULT_AXIS_STEPS_PER_UNIT for the extruder when using the original UM2E extruder motor with the UM2E+ extruder plastic parts? I'm not sure whether they use a different type of motor (0.9/1.8 degree) for both types. Also very confusing is the 2030*2 steps on the github UM2.1-Firmware page.
I've already tried the value 369 and 738 but this gave some weird results with tinkergnome 16.01.

Any suggestions?
