So, work ordered a 3d printer and put me in charge of it. I guess me and everyone else where on the same level of never using one and never really getting into the culture. I was a step ahead since i have used autodesk HSM for some hass' back in school and have good knowledge on cnc machining. But I have ran into some issues.
The settup:
Axiom Dual Direct drive
Cura 2.6.2
The issue:
Cura will create great parts when doing single extrusion but, when i attempt to do anything with a dual extrusion Cura sends the machine home when switching nozzles.... This crashes the machine then it resumes the print no where near the g54. Also Cura lets the nozzles cool off after use but i would much rather them stay at heat during printing the whole time.
Is there any way i can get the machine to not return home after every extruder switch and keep the nozzles from cooling off before use?
Is there a g54 that i can use instead of absolute?
Ive tried:
Ooz sheild
Prime Tower
Machine home center
Setting stand by temp the same as printing temp
Has anyone had any luck with the Axiom Dual Head machines and Cura?
