This is my first post. Ive searched the site and haven't found any recent posts having to do with Estimated Print Times. The ones I've seen are all over a year old and don't address current versions of Cura.
Here's my question; Is there a way (how does one) correctly estimate their print time on Cura 2.7 or 3.0? I'm printing on the CR-10 and Cura's estimates are hours off. 15 hour print takes 23, 4 hour print takes 9. I've seen in prior posts that Cura doesn't take print speed changes into consideration (versions prior to 2.7), but if the speeds are set to default, shouldn't the print time be spot on?
I'm assuming that the program takes the linear distance traveled by the toolpath divided by the speeds selected (including ramps up and down) to come up with the estimate, but why would that estimate be SOOOOO off?
