Yeah i its not a great way of learning. I have been exploring my self trying different settings. I have the cr-10 s5. I also look through all the additional boxes you can activate on cura like jerking in the speed area. I am new at printing. What does jerking mean in the printer? What does it do?

Yeah. It only works on some designs. I need to redesign it in blender

Hi everyone,
I have been experimenting with cura settings to try and get the best quality print. But I never really got there. I tried changing speed, layer height, temperatures, flow rate, etc. I would like to see what you guys have your settings on to get the best print. Preferable to be able to see as little lines in the print. If you do can you please reply and send all the details through such as speed, layer height, temperatures, flow rate, etc.
Cheers everyone

Wow. Yes the project was made in sketchup. But I tried the experimental setting 'slicing tolerance' and it fixed the issue. Thankyou everyone

Hi everyone,
I am a beginner at 3d printing and cura and I have some issues. The first one is my print that I am trying to print is a flat surface with a design in it that is hollow. The only issue is when I place it flat onto the print surface in cura, in layer view it fills up those gaps and puts random layers in it so its not hollow. But if I make it print upwards it doesn't but then I have tonnes of supports and it takes more time. Here are some images below and the actual file. I kind of need it to print lying down flat. Can someone please help.
Making your print start in one area first.

Hello everyone,
I was wondering if there was a way to make your print in cura print one part of your project first. So like making it build one layer of a surface before moving on to another surface on the same layer.
