I am currently trying to print two intersecting objects with two differently colored materials, say object A using extruder 1 and object B using extruder 2.
When merging the two objects and slicing the merge, is it possible to tell Cura to prioritize extruder 1? What I want is to fill everything in the intersection of object A and B using extruder 1, and only use extruder 2 for parts of object B which do not lie in object A. By default, the intersection is filled with alternating layers of material from both extruders.
I've tried removing part of object B that overlaps with object A using the boolean modifier in Blender and the difference function in Openscad, but neither worked properly, so I am hoping for a solution in Cura.
