Thank you Smithy. Is there a manual way to override this? I have previously used my phone as wifi hub for the printers when upgrading, but i would like to be able to avoid this as it is quite cumbersome.

Hi I'm trying to firmware upgrade our work UL3 printers via USB. But it seems that the printers need to verify the firmware somehow. Do the printers need to be online for firmware upgrades even when they are done with USB? (They are not able to go online due to security protocols, even though they are accessible in our network) Thank you for answers.
