Folks, I am absolutely newbie to the 3-D. I run into the problem with the X-axis of the Ultimaker (first version). When I go to the Prepare/ Move Axis/ Move .. mm/ , X axis does not respond, and the drive of X-axis does not rotate. Y and Z do work.
I tried to plug the X drive into the Y socket of the board, and then the X moves, meaning that the problems is with electronics or setup, not wit the mechanical/ electrical part of it. I suspected that perhaps limit switches are the source of the problem, So, I tested limit switches of the X Axis, and both are in Normal Open position, when the unit is in a middle position.
What can be the problem. Hope not the board itself....
